Makes th case that there are no facilities for this fast growing sport in the city - fine if you have a car to drive to Glentress or Interlithen, but for teenagers wanting to play near their homes not much. Many of the edinburgh hills are covered with golf courses which are very little used - not too much to ask for some space for mountain bikers.
We have been looking around Edinburgh for clandestine bike parks - there are a few!
